Ada Andy Napaltjarri is a Luritja Warlpiri speaking artist of Central Australia.


Born 1954 at Narwietooma Station, she moved to Papunya settlement when established in 1960, where she went to school and began to assist Papunya Tula artists. at the same time as being a teachers aid. In the early 1980's she experimented with Women's art on canvas boards and started selling her artwork in 1981.

Entalura's mother was Waripanda (Ada's traditional name)

Ada's work has been exhibited at the Tandanya Centre in Adelaide: Mirage Port Douglas Australia and at the Canterbury Gallery in Christchurch New Zealand and has numerous works in private collections throughout Australia and overseas.

Ada has been the the big painter at Karrinyarra. Inspiring and motivating family towards self help and outstation independence through their paintings.
